In Hombroich

Covering a total area of over sixty hectares, Hombroich comprises not only the Museum Insel Hombroich but also two other areas and each have their own character: the Raketenstation Hombroich and the Kirkeby-Feld. All three locations are also home to independent institutions: the Museum Insel Hombroich houses the Literatur- und Kunstisntitut Hombroich and the Kinder Insel Hombroich e.V., while the Raketenstation is home to Café Biemel and Das Böhmische Dorf. The Kirkeby-Feld, in turn, is home to the Feldhaus – Museum für Populäre Druckgrafik (Museum of Popular Printmaking) and the Kahmen Collection, which displays part of its holdings. The Langen Foundation and Skulpturenhalle Neuss exhibition venues, which are also independent institutions, are located in the immediate vicinity of the Raketenstation.
