Open since 1986, Museum Insel Hombroich – which includes 21 hectares of protected landscape – is a daylight museum with eleven walk-in sculptures, some of which are used to house exhibits. To allow visitors to experience art and nature with all their senses, the museum does not use any artificial lighting, barriers, labels, captions or any didactic elements.
