Visitor Information

As part of ongoing reno­va­tion measures, certain rest­ric­tions to museum opera­tions may apply. We apologise for any incon­ve­ni­ence caused.


Acces­si­bi­lity
The museum grounds are not fully acces­sible. The main entrance is via a staircase. Step-free access is available until one hour before closing. Wheel­chairs and walkers may of course be used; however, please note that some paths are covered with gravel and may be difficult to navigate in places.


Dogs
Dogs are not permitted anywhere on the grounds of Museum Insel Hombroich. This also applies to the exhi­bi­tion spaces of the Rake­ten­sta­tion. Dogs on leads are permitted in the outdoor areas of the Rake­ten­sta­tion.


On Site

  • Please stay on the paths.
  • Please do not touch the paintings or sculp­tures.
  • Please do not leave children unat­tended.
  • Please do not disturb the natural envi­ron­ment.

  • Large bags, backpacks, etc.
