How does bright artificial lighting shape our lives? Can – and should – we learn to live with less light?

On this nighttime walk, artist Alona Rodeh takes participants on a journey in search of darkness. Under the full moon and in the unique landscape of the Raketenstation Hombroich, Rodeh invites participants to a meditative experience away from urban spaces, exploring the cultural, ecological, and sensory dimensions of artificial light. As darkness increasingly disappears from the built environment, this walk offers participants the opportunity to recalibrate and reactivate their night vision.

Participants are asked to wear dark clothing if possible and to bring a hat and sunglasses.

The walk will be conducted in English.
