Presentation of the 3rd Wachhaus-Preis

27. April 2026
Veranstaltungshalle, Raketenstation

Six students from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf have once again transformed the guardhouse at the entrance to the Raketenstation Hombroich over the course of a year, presenting six very different interventions every two months. Residents and workers in Hombroich selected the work they found most compelling from among these contributions.

We are pleased to welcome you and your friends to a retrospective of six remarkable exhibitions and the presentation of the 3rd Wachhaus Prize on April 27 th 2026 at 6:30 pm. Admission is free; no registration is required.

Speakers include Roland Nachtigäller (Executive Director of the Stiftung Insel Hombroich), Prof. Donatella Fioretti (Rector of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf), and Michael Growe (co-initiator of the Wachhaus exhibition series). Featuring a musical performance by Rostislav Kozhevnikov (violin) and Anastasiia Kozhevnikova (piano) from the “24 Preludes” for violin and piano (1941–42) by Nikolai Roslawez (1881–1944).
