Phew, what’s going away! Grandpa is looking for his glasses, Mom is looking for her keys, Felix is looking for his little teddy bear. Marie even got lost herself, in the middle of the depart­ment store, luckily only for a short time. And just a moment ago it was still daytime, now it’s already nighttime, where did the light go? Grandma isn’t there anymore either, not since last summer. And soon I’ll be gone myself: hidden under the bed. When something disap­pears, sometimes you don’t even notice. And sometimes you notice it very clearly. With music, for example. Not only when it stops. If you listen carefully, you can also hear when one note disap­pears into another. Or one song into the next. A wooden spoon in the piano. A pebble in a tin can. And that’s what we’ll be doing in this concert. Not just the adults for the children. But all of us together.

Admission is free for all children and for all members of the Verein zur Förderung der Kinder Insel Hombroich (Asso­cia­tion for the Promotion of Child­ren’s Island Hombroich). We ask adult guests for a voluntary donation of €8 per person. We ask adult guests to come accom­pa­nied by children if possible. We ask younger guests to sit with their parents and to help their parents not to distract them from the concert.

Please bring this invi­ta­tion with you to the entrance to the Insel Hombroich museum grounds and please use it only to attend the concert. Please park in the museum car park. It takes 12 minutes to walk from the entrance to the barn.
