In November 2025, the Stiftung Insel Hombroich welcomes artist Maria Seitz to its Gast­ate­lier at the invi­ta­tion of Katharina Hinsberg. On Sunday, November 9, she will open the doors of the studio to provide insight into her work. During her stay, she will be working on two new groups of works in which the artist develops color spaces and color sequences through drawing—using multi­co­lored lines in space and on paper.

Maria Seitz lives in Cologne and works in the fields of drawing and instal­la­tion. In syste­ma­ti­cally arranged drawing processes, she uses stra­te­gies of repe­ti­tion, series, and sequen­cing to make subtle phenomena visible.
