In July and August 2025, the Insel Hombroich Foun­da­tion welcomes artist Kaoli Mashio at the Rake­ten­sta­tion at the invi­ta­tion of Michael Growe. On Thursday, August 14, she will open the doors of the guest studio to provide insights into her work.

Kaoli Mashio studied at the Düssel­dorf Art Academy under Peter Doig. In Hombroich, Mashio will present works created during her guest residency at the Rake­ten­sta­tion. She will also show objects that serve as a bridge within her painterly oeuvre.
