From 4 September, Martina Geccel­li’s instal­la­tion shards / Scherben und Haufen can be seen at The Wachhaus of Rake­ten­sta­tion.
Geccelli develops her sculp­tural thinking with different materials and media such as ceramics, photo­graphy or with words that have been removed from their context and created anew. Assembled and formed from indi­vi­dual parts, her ceramics come together as collage-like struc­tures. In this way, the guard­house mutates into a showcase for a sculp­tural event. Geccel­li’s ceramic work develops into shards and heaps.
