The third edition of the Hombroich: Rake­ten­fes­tival will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, on the grounds of the Hombroich Rake­ten­sta­tion. Once again, the program will feature a diverse range of inter­na­tional and contem­po­rary forms of elec­tronic and expe­ri­mental music. Following the successful first two editions in 2022 and 2024, curators Miki Yui and Stefan Schneider have once again taken on the artistic challenge in 2026 of bringing together different formats—such as concerts, instal­la­tions, exhi­bi­tions, and workshops—into a cohesive whole. A first-time colla­bo­ra­tion with the Kunst­halle Düssel­dorf will also feature an instal­la­tion by artist Antonia Alessia Virginia Beeskow as part of the Kunst­halle unterwegs program. All festival contri­bu­tions engage with the site’s specific archi­tec­tural and natural condi­tions. The Rake­ten­sta­tion grounds will therefore not be converted into a festival venue, but will instead be used expli­citly as they are—with their charac­te­ristic buildings, unspoiled nature, and history.
