We are delighted to welcome back the Schwindt family as a quintet with piano, cello, and violin. They will play music from different eras and sing songs that invite everyone to join in. For years, the kinder­garten has been fortunate to be asso­ciated with the Schwindt family of musicians as part of Kinder Insel. The whole family has often parti­ci­pated in musical cele­bra­tions such as St. Martin’s Day or the Advent garden party. Now they will be seen and heard again in a concert for children. Of course, the composers will be briefly intro­duced in their time, as well as the indi­vi­dual pieces,
and the history of the pieces will be told to us, or why they were chosen. Even the youngest listeners will have the oppor­tu­nity to parti­ci­pate musically at times.

Admission is free for all children and for all members of the Verein zur Förderung der Kinder Insel Hombroich (Asso­cia­tion for the Promotion of Child­ren’s Island Hombroich). We ask adult guests for a voluntary donation of €8 per person. We ask adult guests to come accom­pa­nied by children if possible. We ask younger guests to sit with their parents and to help their parents not to distract them from the concert.

Please bring this invi­ta­tion with you to the entrance to the Insel Hombroich museum grounds and please use it only to attend the concert. Please park in the museum car park. It takes 12 minutes to walk from the entrance to the barn.
