Full Moon Night Walk with Artist Alona Rodeh

How does artificial light shape our lives? Can we—or should we—learn to live with less light?
On this nighttime walk under a full moon, artist and DarkSky activist Alona Rodeh takes participants on a journey in search of darkness. Rodeh invites you to explore the cultural, ecological, and sensory dimensions of artificial and natural light at the Museum Insel Hombroich. As darkness increasingly disappears from the built environment, this walk offers an opportunity to recalibrate and reactivate our night vision.
Participants are asked to wear dark clothing if possible and to bring a hat and sunglasses.
The walk will be conducted in English. The event will be canceled in case of rain.
