40 Years of Museum Insel Hombroich – Anniversary Weekend and Reopening of the Zwölf-Räume-Haus

As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, the fully renovated Zwölf-Räume-Haus will be officially reopened on Sunday, June 21, at 11 a.m. You are cordially invited to join us in celebrating this special moment! In honor of our anniversary, admission to the museum is free all weekend. A free ticket is required.

At 2 p.m., the Friends of Förderverein Insel Hombroich invites you to a musical performance by Trio Futuro in the Concert Barn to mark the 40th anniversary of the museum’s opening and the 90th birthday of the foundation’s founder, Karl-Heinrich Müller.
Following the reopening of the Zwölf-Räume-Haus, the exhibition pavilion designed by Erwin Heerich will be open to the public until the end of September in its original, empty state as a walk-in sculpture, temporarily featuring artistic interventions, before the collection returns in the winter.
Free short guided tours led by artists will take place at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. at the following locations. Space is limited, so please arrive at the meeting point early.
